#AtoZChallenge reflection post.

I have already written almost everything about my #AtoZChallenge journey in my post Stage Zero and thank you note these two posts pretty much conclude what was this journey for me.

My takeaway from this challenge is experiences I had and people I met. I started believing more in myself that I can do it. What a ride!! Journey had it’s own ups and downs. I was the most inconsistent one I could say because of many other things need to be handled at the same time. I literally survived this challenge.
Thank you team #AtoZChallenge and all wonderful bloggers out there.

Congratulations to all who participated in the challenge and earned survivor badge. I am feeling proud too as I earned it too.

Questions asked by Shubham and my answers :-

6) can you share a ‘don’t’ advice too?

Yes, please don’t talk down to yourself in your mind or anyone in front of others.

7) if you have one superpower what would you pick and why?

Great question. If I have one superpower I want to change our education system as it doesn’t teach us how to cope with real life situations!!

8) Do you have any favourite celebrity or author?

Celebrity– Priyanka Chopra, anytime.

Author– cannot pick one. Sudha Murthy, Robin Sharma, Kajal Oza Vaidya to name a few.

Simplicity. Be it in your nature or in clothes you wear.

Stage zero #AtoZChallenge-Z

So this is the last post of #AtoZChallenge 2019. I am still in surprise and in shock that I survived this challenge. I stumbled upon this challenge on 3rd day. Without giving a second thought I jumped into it.

I had started my blogging journey as a hobby or just to tap into my creative side as I mentioned in previous post. I am a part time dentist, wife and mother of 3 years old son.

I was already 3 days behind, unaware, unprepared and with busy schedule i had no idea that I would be able to complete it. As I reached midway I realised that chances are there I could quit at any point or I would not be able to write with my heart. I told myself to concentrate on writing and just write without thinking of finishing this writing marathon. I did it with all my love for writing. And today I am writing last post on the last day. I still processing in my mind and figuring out how I did it. I am feeling so much overwhelmed writing this.

#AtoZChallenge had been learning experience for me. (Thank you!) Tiresome but totally in love this exhausting journey. And I realised I really love writing even if I am tired and sleep deprived.

I was not sure about my writing skills at all. This challenge made me realise that I really love writing and if I push my boundaries, I can come up with many ideas and I can write.

I want to thank all my readers for taking time from your busy schedule to read my post. I want to thank my fellow bloggers and writers for constantly encouraging me and motivating me. Through this challenge I came into contact with many amazing writers.

It’s just a stage zero. This challenge is over but my journey has just begun. This is my starting point. I have to learn and improve a lot. A Long way to go!

Xoxo,

Y- You are important, invest in yourself

Z- Stage Zero

You are important, invest in yourself #AtoZChallenge–Y

I am writing second last post of this challenge and I want to tell you this..

You are important. Do invest in yourself for your overall well-being, fulfilment and better future.

You are as important as your next door neighbour or as important as any influential personality on the planet.

I strongly believe that as humans we need to prioritise our personal well being and personal growth before anything else.

I have started my blogging journey few months back with no agenda or plans. I just started it to tap into my creativity. I have noticed that, I have less complains about life and I have become more positive towards life when I have started doing that. I even become more calm or less reactive to things in negative way! Doing something that is food for your soul will give you better perspective and positivity about life in general. This is inturn good for the other people surrounding you too.

Life gives you all reasons to put self love at backseat and fullfill other’s demands and priorities. Priorities yourself before your job or relationship or any other aspect of life. Make sure you no longer ignore yourself as it is one of the best return on that, you can have. Doing this in turn sets foundation and everything else automatically fall into place.

Start investing in your health, your personal or professional goals which are pending since long, learning a new skill or tap into your creative side, give time to yourself to know yourself better, to love yourself and to nurture yourself.Know about things which lifts up your mood, In traffic jam if you are questioning your entire existance then you are not alone, join the club!

“Stop trying to be less of you are,let this time in your life cut you open and drain all things that are holding you back.”- Jennifer Elisabeth.

Xoxo- hugs and kisses/ language of love and affection/ human touch #AtoZChallenge-X

The slang XO stands for hugs and kisses. sign of human touch and gesture of love and affection. Human touch is really important. It’s a way to express affection. It has healing power.

“Nothing eases suffering like human
touch.”- Bobby Fischer.

In 2006, Juan Mann had started the ‘free hugs’ movement is Australia. In the months prior to this, Juan had been feeling depressed and lonely due to his personal difficulties. One day he went out for party & completely random person came to him and gave him a hug. It was greatest thing happened to him. He started this campaign where the hugs meant to be random act of kindness. It is a selfless act to make other people feel better. The campaign became famous as a result of music video on the YouTube by the Australian band sick puppies. The campaign has become revolutionary worldwide. Juan Mann was even invited by oprah on her show.

That’s the power of human touch. It increases level of the oxytocin which is beneficial for reducing stress, ease the depression and helps to decrease level of fatigue.

The simple act of human touch is such an incredible way to not only bond with others but also boost your physical and mental health.

It is a gesture of showing support or love for the person.it relaxes muscles and tention in your body. Nurturing human touch to your kids provide them sense of safety and belonging.

My all worries, tiredness and stress just go away whenever my son hugs me or kiss me or snuggles close to me. It’s the best feeling in the world.

So express your Love and gratitude in the form of hugs, kisses and cuddles to your loved ones as often as you can. Caution: Kisses and cuddles should not be free to strangers by the way like free hugs!!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€ health experts even cautioned against ‘free hugs’ to strangers. It can act against the healing,if you’re not comfortable with it.

Human touch communicates through emotions. Hold you partner’s hand. Hug your family and friends. Show empathy through human touch if you find someone, who is sad or depressed.

“The human touch is that little snippet of physical affection that brings a bit of comfort, support, and kindness. It doesn’t take much from the one who gives it, but can make a huge difference in the one who receives it.” – Mya Robarts

Meanwhile, as this journey of #AtoZChallenge is almost has come to an end. I am sending so many virtual xoxo to all readers, fellow bloggers and well-wishers who have supported and motivated new bloggers like me every single day. Thank you so much. It means a lot. It’s been a great journey.

Accept and allow #AtoZChallenge-A

I accept my negative beliefs for myself, I allow my self to unlearn those and create positive beliefs.

I accept my fears and insecurities, I allow myself to overcome it and shine.
I accept my vulnerability, I allow myself to become resilient.

I accept my struggles and challenges, I allow myself to focus on solutions.
I accept myself for who I was yesterday and who I am today, I allow myself to become better version of me tomorrow.
